This is Week 9 of my Art Process Speed Drawing videos to correspond with my online comic strip The Last Earth. This series is a love letter to 80’s comics, toys, cartoons, movies, and games.

In this episode we will discuss Volume 2 issue #13 of Kurt Busiek's Astro City titled "In the Spotlight". This issue tells the backstory of one of Astro City's most unusual residents, Loony Leo; a giant living cartoon character. It is a story filled with child-like whimsy and dark tragedy.
